How We Started?
Gamjam Foods Enterprise wasn’t created like other companies.
We didn’t start with the thought of a business in mind. The idea of Gamjam Foods Enterprise took root when a recent visit to Gambia made our Chairman witness the poor choices of foods available to the locals. They do not have access to quality food staples, let alone healthy foods.
The rice shipped to Gambia and other West African countries is fed to animals in the West. But, it’s considered fit for consumption for Africans.
It was the poor state of the people of Gambia that made our Chairman and CEO lay the foundation of Gamjam Foods.
Determined to start a food revolution in Africa, we are importing high-quality and healthy foods to Gambia. Since we have just started, we are focusing only on food staples and the Gambian market. However, we plan to expand our offers and also cater to other West African countries, over time, eventually spreading all across the continent.
Health is the biggest wealth one can build, and for that, pure, organic, and fresh products are needed. Gamjam Foods is bridging the gap between good food and our fellow countrymen, so everyone can enjoy the quality of food that they deserve at the lowest possible rates.
